The North American T-2 Buckeye was a jet trainer used by the US Navy. Its primary purpose was to introduce naval aviators and flight officers to jet aircraft. It replaced the Lockheed T2V SeaStar and made its final carrier landing in 2004.

Every naval aviator qualified in jet flight between the late 50s and 2004 spent time in the T-2. It has been replaced by the T-45 Goshawk by McDonnell Douglas.
