The PA-22 Piper Tri-Pacer is a high-wing, strut-based monoplane with tricycle landing gear. Many are still flown today and are popular for their cabins and ruggedness. This model was given a nosewheel instead of a tailwheel, providing better visibility on the ground than the Pacer.
The Tri-Pacer, and it's related Pacer variant, were Piper's first designs after World War 2 with a control yoke and flaps. They have shorter wings than the Piper Cub models.
