The Learjet 23 is a high-speed, twinjet business jet tha debuted in 1964. Only 101 were produced. The jet began as the SAAC-23 Execujet, inspired by the FFA P-16 fighter, in Switzerland. When the company moved to Kansas, it became the Lear Jet Corporation. As the first of its type from the company, the 23 holds an important place in business jet history.

The Learjet 23 at the Arkansas Air & Military Museum was the ninth to come off the line and was used as an aerobatic plane by Bobby Younkin.
