The LTV A-7 Corsair II is a carrier-ready American light attack aircraft introduced in 1967. With a design derived from the F-8 Crusader, it is smaller and subsonic, as well as cheaper and easier to produce. The final models were retired by the Hellenic Air Force in 2014, though the United States retired its planes in 1991.

Variants of the A-7 were used in the Gulf War, Operation El Dorado, and other conflicts, and were used to aid in the development of Lockheed's F-117 Nighthawk. It was eventually replaced by F-16 Fighting Falcons and F-18 Hornets.
